You will automatically directed to the mobile version of the website, m.youtube.com, this have to be done on the browser of your device, and not using the YouTube App in other to setup your YouTube channel properly and have access to all the features you want.
Go to YouTube.com, click on the image icon which will lead you to sign in to Google account to get started.

create a Google account or Gmail account and sign in, if you already have a Google account, click on sign in.
The Google account must not be associated with any YouTube account yet
Sign in to YouTube with the Google account you want to use to create a business channel or personal channel.
Click on your profile image in the upper-right corner and follow the process.
-Select the “Your Channel” option.
